Meet the Trainer

Hey there! I'm Kyle Martin, a Certified Personal Trainer and movement specialist.  I have spent many years in and out of the gym in both an athletic capacity and for overall wellness.  No matter what gym I was at, I saw the same thing: people stagnating on their goals and/or quitting after giving fitness a try.  I could almost hear them say to themselves "That was worth a try, but fitness just isn't for me."

As someone who has overcome injuries and surgeries, I felt called to help people from all walks of life with various schedules to make tangible changes in their physique and health.  Whether you are an executive with knee issues and seem to have no time, or you are a factory worker with tennis elbow and working night shift, I have the plan for you.

 

Fitness is a lifestyle and lets be honest: It's HARD to drastically change your lifestyle.  Instead of changing your whole lifestyle, I specially design a program to FIT your lifestyle.

Training Philosophy

We are in a time where people look at how others train their body, but discount their own physiology when doing so.  I believe that assessing your own body, frame, and lifestyle is the first step to making the changes you want to experience in and out of the gym.  My training emphasizes the mind-muscle connection and building a strong nervous system along with aesthetic, balanced, and strong muscles. 

     I look at my profession similarly to a marriage counselor except instead of dealing with two individuals, I coach the relationship between you and your muscles while opening up communication between the two. 

Most people's physical shortcomings and sticking points stem from an inability to understand their body and the signals of communication it is sending.  My style of training arms my clients with the knowledge of how to properly respond to these signals and create new strong connections where they want to make progress.

     I understand firsthand how operating on bad information can cause a sense of confusion or hopelessness in regards to physical appearance and performance.  This is why I believe in educating my clients while giving them an intense workout that will yield the quickest results for their goals. 

     Whatever your goal is and whatever challenge you see in the way, I am here to guide you to success through proper nutrition and movement while arming you with information that will positively impact the way you look at fitness in and out of a gym environment.
